Watchitoo, a web-based service, enables people to collaborate around and consume content in real-time. The platform eliminates the boundaries of content sharing and social networking allowing users to interact with a broad array of content while communicating using video and text chat in a synchronous or asynchronous web environment.
Watchitoo's patent-pending technology provides a real-time social collaboration platform that can be implemented as an embeddable service on any site, hosted or white-labeled. Content including videos, music, photos, and documents can be organized, viewed, and easily shared on the Watchitoo platform in public settings or in private viewing environments that can be accessed via invitation only.

(A) Watchitoo is a play on words "Watch it too" for "watching it together" referencing the interactive viewing experience and engagement participants experience.

(A) Founded in January 2007 by Rony Zarom, Watchitoo Launched into Private Beta May 18th and Public Beta July 21st.
(Q) What differentiates Watchitoo from other real-time, streaming or social networking sites and platforms such as Facebook, twitter, Google Wave, Skype, iChat, UStream, etc.?
(A) Watchitoo integrates many of the key elements of all of them into one platform, no download necessary, offering a synchronized experience that is similar to a live TV show where everyone watching not only sees the same thing at the same time, but has ability to see each other. It is the ideal collaboration platform integrating content sharing, webinar functionalities, livestreaming, and networking all in one service.

(A) You can live stream through the main viewing doc, and participants can be dragged into the viewng window for all to see.

(A) You can share Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, documents, as well as Adobe PDFs.

(Q) Can you stream your computer screen to share with your audience?
(A) At this time Watchitoo does not allow screen sharing.
(Q) Is there access to other content-provider sites?
(A) Currently YouTube & Flickr are supported, other content providers will soon be announced. You can also upload your own personal videos and desktop content!
(Q) Can you link into personal accounts on other social networking sites and online platforms?
(A) Watchitoo will be offering a facebook application where friends can be invited to join the app and it gets integrated into your existing facebook account. You will be able to use this app to see which of your friends also have the app and are online, thus allowing you to head over to Watchitoo.com and share content.
(Q) Can I upload personal content directly to Watchitoo?
(A) You may upload videos with a size limit of 2 GB per movie or less. We support AVI, Quicktime Mpeg, Wmv, & Flash.
