IT’S FASHION WEEK!!!!
And in New York, Bryant Park is crawling with leggy models dressed in all sorts of things sipping coffee in the crisp September air.
One thing I have in common with models: I drink coffee.
I’ve never been a particularly avid fashionista, but I have to admit I wonder what goes on under those soaring white canopies. When I get a chance, my girlfriends (and boyfriends who enjoy that kinda thing) all snuggle on a coach, turn on NY1 and take in the spectacle.
But now I can have the couch to myself!! All I need is Watchitoo and my webcam to enjoy picking apart all the fashions of the day with friends and family—even if they’re miles away!
My mom, a savvy Facebook user and self proclaimed internet progressionist, logs on with me from my hometown of Elmira, NY after work. We used to have to wait for one of my twice yearly visits to bust out the DVR and watch shows like Project Runway, What Not to Wear, and Say Yes to the Dress far into the twilight hours. Now we can log on together and rave about how Diane Von Furstenburg still hasn’t lost her touch. I don’t think she will anytime soon!
