Watchitoo’s live stream of the Boxee Box launch party last night pulled in some huge numbers! There was a lot of buzz surrounding the event, but we had no idea that the viewership of the launch would be so high.
By the end of the event, over 10,000 people had logged in to watch the live stream! Boxee’s CEO, Avner Ronen, delivered his presentation live to viewers through the Watchitoo platform that was embedded on Boxee’s blog. Ronen discussed the details of the launch, he demonstrated functionality of the new Boxee Box by D-Link, and announce the company’s partners.
