Watchitoo is excited to bring you the opening keynote for the EMP Pop Conference. The live stream will be broadcast on Raine Magazine’s website as well as the Clive Davis Institute’s website. Viewers can engage with live tweet, post to facebook, and submit live questions for the Q & A segment. Live questions may be selected by the artists themselves to answer on the panel.
Now in its 11th year, the EMP Pop Conference is traditionally presented at EMP Museum in Seattle. This year, for the first time, the conference will be staged in New York at NYU’s Kimmel Center. Conference organizers found that Watchitoo was the best solution to extend the reach of the conference to broadcast the event to the global music community, and offer a great way to engage through Chat, Twitter, Facebook and live Q & A. The opening keynote – The Artist in the City – featuring Angelique Kidjo (Grammy Winning global pop music icon – @angeliquekidjo) Esperanza Spalding (Grammy Winner for Best New Artist 2010 – @EspeSpalding), Santigold (Roc Nation and Jay-Z, Kanye and Major Lazer collaborator – @Santigold), Heems of Das Racist (critically-praised Hip Hop group – @DasRacist), moderated by Ann Powers (NPR Pop Critic @annkpowers) is expected to be a lively conversation and much anticipated event.
Don’t miss this great live coverage, be part of the conversation!
